Just Because
I read this in a story in a local publication interviewing everyday people about the phenomenon of the "Twilight" book series and the opening of the second movie "New Moon."

Interesting how trying not to be cliche can be so cliche.

I was forced to watch both the first and second installments by my girlfriend. I found the first laughable in its execution, and the second laughable only in its inane plot. You see, the second film had a much more competent director...

By the way, I stumbled across this comment of yours today and it made me feel much better, although I had no reason to feel "ungood" in any way.
"me and my cousin talked about this last weekend. we decided it's best to drink in our grandma's yard than it is go out somewhere. we always get split up, because, as he says, "when i drink, i get it in my mind that i've got to GO somewhere."
then he said, "the worst part is doing something and waking up knowing that you did it. you have no choice but to just live a few more days and hopefully it will go away."
then i told him about four years ago when we went to that restaurant and the waitress didn't think we tipped her enough (we did)and then she showed up to the party we went to after eating.
all she did was complain. it put us in a sour mood, so we climbed on top of her car and pissed all over it.
i just can't live enough days to put that one behind me.

i'm in the same boat. i just try not to be a hater. that's just too cliche ... or is staying neutral on something because you don't want to be cliche in itself a cliche?
anyway ... i doubt i would ever have remembered that if you hadn't pointed it out. does that mean i managed to live it down? if you think about it -- if you take something i wrote, what, three or four years ago that i say happened four years before that ... that's getting to be a LONG time ago. i was reading back through some of my older posts after trying to remember what year something happened. as i read some of them i thought, "this is almost like another person." but it was me.
